Nowadays road networks can be regarded as potential for support and development of economy. Any state’s economy depends on this potential. It is not a secret that the volume of cargo shipping via road transport is enormous. Sometimes transportation of dangerous goods via road transport is required – this demands knowledge of certain rules and application of relevant safety measures.

It is important to note that implementation of all rules of the agreement requires application of certain measures which enables protection of environment and people from potential hazards.

Depending on the nature of goods – during storage, loading-unloading proceedings or transportation – such potential hazards may arise: inflammation, secretion of toxic substances, explosions, radioactivity, oxidising process and much more. This is why transportation companies have to do everything to enable safe transportation of dangerous goods on roads, in order to avoid the aforementioned situations.

Naturally transportation companies have to apply complex approaches in order to ensure safety during the transportation of dangerous goods. This is why freight carrier needs to have a licence and applicable certificates. Transport has to be equipped in such a way that it would enable transportation of certain potentially hazardous goods.
